Carnegie Mellon University’s Health Promotion team is searching for a Health Promotion Assistant Program Director. This role is full-time. This role will support the development and management of campus-wide health promotion strategies, policies, programs and services with a focus on peer education. Under the leadership of the Health Promotion Program Director, the individual in this role will play a key role in the planning, implementation and evaluation of strategic health and well-being initiatives. In addition, they will collaborate with university partners to improve health equity and address priority college health and well-being issues for Carnegie Mellon University students. Core responsibilities include: Hire, train, manage, supervise, and evaluate student workers, including Peer Health Advocates Oversee, refine and teach a credited academic course on the foundations of peer education Coordinate training in peer health advocate specializations with campus partners, including but not limited to: mental health and substance use; sexual health and relationships; nutrition, body image and body inclusivity; disability resources, and violence prevention Manage 1:1 peer support s...
