Senior Electrical Engineer - Fuel Recycling

Thanks for your interest in Oklo! We are searching for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team. Position Description: In this role, you will own the design, development, integration, and validation of electrical systems supporting a nuclear fuel recycling facility. These systems include facility power distribution, electrical infrastructure, equipment power systems, and interfaces with process and control systems. This is a first-of-a-kind (FOAK) facility, and this role requires ownership across the full lifecycle from early concept development through detailed design, construction, commissioning, and operations. This role includes close collaboration with cross-functional teams focused on facility design, process engineering, controls engineering, equipment design, and licensing. Specific responsibilities may include: Lead the design and implementation of facility electrical systems from concept through commissioning Design and specify high-, medium-, and low-voltage power distribution systems Define system architecture, including redundancy, backup power, and safety strategies Perform and review power system studies (load flow, short-circuit, coordination) Generate and revi...
