Minimum qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience. - 5 years of experience in coding, debugging/troubleshooting, and monitoring. - 5 years of experience in systems architecture. - 3 years of experience with developing infrastructure and distributed systems. Preferred qualifications: - Master's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience. - Experience working with systems and system design. - Familiarity with the business processes involved in planning, acquiring, or provisioning machine resources to system services. - Ability to navigate among multiple stakeholders and developer partners outside of the direct team. About the job: Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) combines software and systems engineering to build and run large-scale, massively distributed, fault-tolerant systems. SRE ensures that Google Cloud's services—both our internally critical and our externally-visible systems—have reliability, uptime appropriate to customer's needs and a fast rate of improvement.
