Job Title: Assistant Softball Coach Reporting Relationship: Head Softball Coach: Unit: IWU-Marion: Department: Intercollegiate Athletics - IWU Marion Campus Location: Recreation & Wellness Center - Marion, IN Summary of Position: The Assistant Softball Coach must be committed to the Lordship of Christ. This not only means having the correct intellectual belief, but it also involves a radical transformation in every area of one’s lifestyle. The Coach must continually seek opportunities to grow and possess strong character traits through the regular practicing of the spiritual disciplines (e.g., prayer, meditation, Bible reading) and develop ministry values that express what God can do in impacting student athletes with whom they interact. The primary role of the Assistant Softball Coach will be to spearhead the recruiting efforts within the IWU Softball program. This individual will need to be relational and desire to connect with and build relationships with high school and club programs in Indiana and the surrounding states.
