Job Description: Your Impact We are looking for a BOM controller to join our team in Edinburgh. Within this role , you will have the opportunity to use and develop your skills supporting and influencing the construct of assembly bills of material (BOM) within the company databases. You will be working within a close-knit, multi-talented small team at the forefront of engineering for aerospace and defence. The role may be a mixture of home based and onsite. What you'll do as a BOM Controller: Maintenance of the assembly Bills of Material and Material Master Data within the company databases, ensuring readiness for production. Attendance at Change Review Boards to approve the validity of change documentation and the implementation of changes to the product. Reviewing change documentation to confirm compliance with the appropriate regulations for the change implementation. Relaying outcomes of Change Management to the relevant disciplines and Project Management. It would be necessary to have advanced knowledge of Configuration & Change Management processes, as well as some experience of SAP ERP software and Product Data Management software.
