Position Overview Full-Time, Year-Round Bus Operator: Starting Pay: $31.00/hr: $600 CDL BP2 Sign-On Bonus The Town of Vail, Colorado, is looking for enthusiastic and dependable full-time, year-round bus operators to join our Transportation Department! Operators will operate a public transportation bus requiring a commercial driver’s license. They are responsible for pick-ups, transports, and drop-offs of passengers on a prescribed route, on time and in accordance with local, state, and federal standards. They must provide guests with schedule/route information and the most effective alternatives to reach their desired destinations. They will also assist disabled guests on and off the bus, practice safe defensive driving techniques, and report all accidents, damage, or incidents of vandalism. Operators may be assigned to the bus wash as needed.
