Description The Department of Biostatistics, Epidemiology and Informatics (DBEI) at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Associate or Full Professor positions in either the non-tenure clinician educator track or the tenure track. Expertise is required in the specific area of Epidemiology or related disciplines. Areas of focus may include, but are not limited to the following: disease, exposure, life stage, methods, health behavior, healthcare delivery, and health equity. Candidates interested in devoting most of their effort to pediatric epidemiologic research may be eligible for an appointment that is integrated with the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Successful candidates on the tenure track are expected to have a strong track record of obtaining peer-reviewed federal funding as principal investigator. Successful candidates in the clinician educator track should have a strong track record of collaborative research. Applicants for associate professor in both the clinician educator and tenure track are expected to be recognized as leaders in their field nationally.
