Facilitates continuity of care by interfacing with physician, nursing, child life, and department staff. Ensures the effective and efficient delivery of quality diagnostic recording and reporting to the physician and the patients medical record. Obtains relevant information and skillfully performs daily standard and complex EEG recordings as ordered by physician. Selects predetermined electrode combinations as well as special combinations made by the case under study. Assists medical staff as needed during special procedures. Prepares written documentation as required by the profession and the department, such as evaluation results, individualized treatment plans, progress reports, monthly reports and other such reports.
