Responsibilities: Our well-respected and established neonatology practice at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, KS , is recruiting for a Neonatologist who is interested in an evolving QI team-based opportunity . Why Join Us?: - Fully Supported 8-Physician Practice : Join a collaborative and dynamic team at Wesley Medical Center. - Minimum 2 neonatologists on until 4pm. Very close knit team creating a flexible schedule with strong NNP support - 24-Hour In-House Coverage : Work in our Level-III, 80-bed NICU with round-the-clock coverage. - No call required from home! - 1 NEO and 2 NNPs working 24/7 to provide coverage. No single-person coverage in the evening. - High Acuity Enviorment - 6,000 deliveries each year , with the intensive and special care units averaging around 1,200 admissions annually and an average daily census of 60. - High volume with procedures: Handle OK/NE/Western Kansas transfers – LPs, Lines, etc. - Comprehensive Services : Provide all services except ECMO and heart surgery. - Supportive Environment : Work alongside residents and nurse practitioners for both day and night shifts. - Acade...
