Job description
MAJOR FUNCTION: Responsible and accountable for the assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of human response to actual or potential physical and emotional health problems. Performs diagnostic radiographic examinations as prescribed by a licensed invasive cardiologist, utilizing radiation-producing equipment within established departmental guidelines serving adult and geriatric patients. QUALIFICATIONS: Certification/Licensure: - You must be enrolled in a BSN or MSN program from an accredited school of professional nursing within six months of hire or rehire and graduate on or before the third employment anniversary date into a nursing position. * BSN or MSN graduates preferred - *Grandfathered Exemption of Educational Requirement: - Hired on or before May 31, 2013 -- IMC - Hired on or before August 4, 2015 – IMCW - Hired on or before May 31, 2023 – IMCM - Critical Care experience required. - Cath Lab experience preferred. - One-year clinical experience in specialty area required for per diem positions. - Current licensure with New Jersey State Board of Nursing. - American Heart Association BLS required. - American Heart Association ACLS required. - Dysrhythmia certificatio...
