Job description

Under minimal supervision, responsible for assisting with contract management in accordance with applicable regent's rules and state regulations. Assists with the oversight and preparation of contract fulfillment requirements. Education: - Oversees and prepares contract documents from the initial stages through execution. - Ensures Contracts have State required legal clauses and/or revisions. - Reviews, negotiates, drafts, revises, and amends contracts to ensure compliance with University Rules, including the Rules and Regulations of the Board of Regents of The University of Texas System and the rules and policies of The University of Texas System. - Participates in the development and fulfillment of contract requirements. - Examines estimates of material, equipment, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules. - Reviews bid responses from other firms for conformity to contract requirements and determines acceptable bids. - Negotiates contracts and amendments with customer or bidder.
