Maintenace Associate- Heat Treat Mechanic 2nd shift

Job description

Position Purpose: Responsible for overseeing heat treat operations Hourly or Salary Range: $21.50 - $30.25 Essential Functions: - Maintain Environmental, Health & Safety standards in the workplace - Train new operators - Perform heat treat samples - Make minor repairs on the heat treat system - Must be able to troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance on the heat-treat system - Repair and/or make heat treat coils and fixtures - Run the heat treat if necessary - Always keep work area clean - Always work in a safe manner - Other job duties may be assigned by supervisor Education and Training: - High School Diploma or GED Minimum Qualifications: - Good verbal and written communication skills - Ability to read blueprints - Must be able to use measuring equipment - Must be able to work independently and with others Physical Demands: - Must be able to lift 25lbs - Must be able stand continuously for 8 hrs – 12 hours - Must be able to bend and twist - Demonstrate dependability and adherence to all safety rules and regulations - Ability to work in tight places - Good hand/eye coordination and good motor skills Environmental Conditions: We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
