The Director of Dietary Support Services is a critical role within our communities as it impacts the lives of residents through the strong leadership and motivation of Sienna team members. Rate of Pay: $55,451 - $69,314 This posting is for an existing vacancy As a Director of Dietary Support Services your typical day will impact the following ways: - Consults and works with the home’s Dietitian as necessary on operational (related to production of special nourishments and supplements) and clinical issues. - Ensures that the Dietary department operates in compliance with both the organization’s policies and provincial long-term care legislation related to dietary standards, as well as with other relevant legislation affecting the department e.g. Occupational Health and Safety Committee, Ontario Labour Act, Union agreements, Human Rights Code, Public Health legislation. - Co-ordinates, plans and implements all catering requests and submits catering cost reports to the Executive Director/Administrator. - Ensures residents are part of the menu pl...
