Calibration Specialist I

Job description

As a Specialist for the Calibration Lab you will be responsible for assisting in compliance and support of operations for the laboratory to ISO17025. You will have the opportunity to work in a variety of lab environments and testing fields as you perform calibrations, assist in technical support, develop methods, and validation. It is an exciting role and fascinating field that offers opportunities for learning about calibration, equipment and problem solving every day. - Independently performing calibration tasks - Complete calibration workorders by assigned due date - Write and maintain calibration SOP's. - Perform equipment repairs. - QC Review of in-house and outsourced calibration work orders. - Validation and Verification of new Calibration methods. - Researching new equipment capabilities. - Assist with audits and corrective actions. Required Qualifications: - Associate degree in an Engineering or Scientific discipline or High school diploma/GED with two years NSF laboratory work experience or three years external lab experience - Ability to follow complex technical procedures. - Ability to document calibration procedures. - Knowledge of calibration processes. - Must have te...
