Position Description: The University of Louisville School of Music seeks a Temporary Program Manager I (Part-Time) for the String Preparatory Center (SPC) and Cello Instructor to serve the SPC’s mission of providing high-quality string education and meaningful community engagement. This dual role combines hands-on operational leadership of the SPC’s community-facing programs with weekly cello instruction. The SPC plays a central role in the School of Music’s community engagement strategy through a year-round portfolio of tuition-based and partnership programs: weekly lessons for community students; academic-year workshops including the High School All State Clinic, the Middle School Honors Orchestra, and the Suzuki Spring Festival; and intensive summer workshops including the UofL Suzuki Institute, the Advanced Violin Summit, the Cello Summit, and the UofL Violin Symposium.
