Job Family: Scientist Travel Required: None Clearance Required: Ability to Obtain Public Trust What You Will Do: We are currently searching for a Staff Scientist to provide specialized scientific services to support the research objectives of the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI), primarily conducting and managing original research in hematology, contributing to the mission of the Hematology Branch (HB). Including delivering experimental data, scientific analyses, and publications aligned with NHLBI’s research goals. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity in Bethesda, MD Conduct original hematology research using both mouse models and human samples (healthy and patient-derived). Independently design, execute, and manage scientific research projects and studies. Perform data analysis, including statistical interpretation and graphical representation. Ensure reproducibility of results through experimental replicates and validation studies. Work independently and as a part of collaborative team in performing the experiments.
