POSITION OVERVIEW: The Hotel Doorman is the first point of contact for guests and plays a key role in creating a welcoming and positive first impression. This position is responsible for greeting guests, assisting with arrivals and departures, and ensuring a smooth flow of traffic at the hotel entrance. PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Greeting guests warmly upon arrival and departure - Open doors for guests and assist with entering and exiting vehicles - Assist guests with luggage and coordinate with bell staff when needed - Provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions - Hail taxis, arrange transportation, and manage valet coordination if applicable - Maintain awareness of the entrance area to ensure safety and cleanliness - Handle guest inquiries and provide directions in a courteous manner - Monitor and manage traffic f...
