Serve as a Summer Legal Intern in the SGLA - SCOR Global Life Americas Law Department working with SGLA Attorneys to advise and support SGLA’s business in North and South America and collaborate with our parent and affiliate companies globally. Under the supervision of SGLA Attorneys, engage with our business clients, understand their business needs and risks and proactively work with them to reach solutions in a cost-effective manner. Complete legal and compliance research and projects as requested. With SGLA attorneys and compliance professionals work with business lines on specific projects Update and maintain various legal data bases. Provide feedback on the program and offer suggestions for improvement. Pursuing Juris Doctorate degree. Enrolled and in good standing in an accredited law school. Must be interested in working in a fast-paced, intellectually stimulating environment with professionals from multiple disciplines, including treaty, actuarial, finance, operations and sales and marketing.
