Position Summary: Florida Atlantic University is seeking a Mental Health Therapist & Referral Specialist. - Boca Raton, FL. The Mental Health Therapist & Referral Specialist is responsible for providing mental health services to enrolled students (i.e., conducting initial assessments and determination of treatment needs; conducting individual, couples, and group psychotherapy; conducting crisis counseling). Summary of responsibilities: Work with students to provide referrals to external agencies. Provide outreach services to the university community and develop liaison relationships across the University with a goal of primary prevention and psychoeducation on mental health concerns. Provide clinical supervision to Master's trainees.
