Job Description: Job Title: Assets Backed Finance, Europe Location: London: Corporate Title: Analyst: Assets Backed Securities (ABS) Europe is a primary origination business that provides asset financing and ABS capital markets solutions to clients. It is a mature Franchise to longstanding relationships, and multiple facilities. The diverse nature of our client base (bank and non-bank financials) means that each deal is very different, involves operational and structural complexity and is extremely time intensive to ensure the appropriate level of diligence and monitoring is performed correctly. The Mortgage Finance business which the candidate will join has a broad mandate to primarily finance portfolios backed by real estate assets. The offering includes revolving warehouses for non-bank platforms originating new mortgages and NPL and REO financing of non-core assets sold to private equity firms, as well as financing of unsecured NPLs for debt purchasers and private equity firms. You will be expected to support a new business line that will focus on buying whole loans via forward flow arrangements and backbooks with a view to exit via securitisation.
