We are seeking a compassionate Peer Support Specialist to join our Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team in Burlington, NC and help support individuals living with mental health and substance use challenges. Your Role in Our Mission: As a Peer Support Specialist , you will use your personal lived experience with mental health or substance use recovery to support others on their recovery journey. Your experience provides a unique perspective that complements clinical services and helps inspire hope and empowerment for the individuals we serve. Working as part of our community-based ACT team , you will provide mentoring, coaching, and advocacy to clients in various community settings.
