Company: Allegheny Health Network Job Description: GENERAL OVERVIEW: Registered Nurses (RNs) in this role work in a high-volume call center environment, serving as the primary point of contact for physicians and referring healthcare providers seeking assistance with patient transfers within the Allegheny Health Network (AHN). Key responsibilities include the efficient triage and facilitation of complex requests (telemedicine, consults, transfers, and emergency alerts), ensuring timely patient care transitions, and effective collaboration with diverse clinical teams to maintain patient safety and optimal care delivery . ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Coordinate all aspects of patient care for adult and pediatric transfers, working collaboratively with the interdisciplinary Transfer Center team. Responsibilities include facilitating timely transitions, ensuring high-quality care, optimizing patient experience, and gathering comprehensive clinical data.
