Position Summary Job Summary: The Radiology Service Manager supervises and performs daily operations of diagnostic imaging services working with the Assistant Radiology Administrator. Provides direct supervision for the professional radiology technicians for CT, MRI, and PET. Works as a lead Radiographer and as a resource for staff and other departments. Key Responsibilities: - Provide daily supervision, coaching, and support to multi-modality diagnostic radiologic technologists. - Oversee onboarding, competencies, evaluations, and performance feedback. - Model MSU HCI core values of collaboration, compassion, integrity, and respect. - Assist with hiring, scheduling, and workforce planning. - Coordinate staffing assignments to ensure appropriate coverage based on patient volume and acuity. - Monitor workflow, exam throughput, and resource utilization to optimize efficiency. - Partner with radiologists and fellow radiographers for coordinated patient care. - Identify workflow challenges and lead process improvements. - Ensure compliance with Health policies, radiation safety standards, MRI/PET/CT safety standards and regulatory requirements (JCAHO) - Support quality initiatives, saf...
