Summary: Under the direction of the Maintenance Manager, Maintenance Technicians install, overhaul, dismantle, construct, inspect, replace, test and make mechanical and electrical repairs to buildings and mechanical equipment such as boilers, compressors, sprinklers, piping, plumbing, production and material handling equipment, line equipment and controls. Essential Job Functions: - Troubleshoot using working knowledge of programmable controllers, electronics, circuit analysis, mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics - Performs plumbing and pipefitting duties as required on plant piping, such as steam, water, air, gas, and chemical lines - Operates and repairs electrically and mechanically, all boilers, compressors, sprinklers, cooling towers and pumps as needed - Read and interpret machine electrical and mechanical drawings - Reads and interprets blue prints and schematic diagrams - Installation, modification and fabrication of equipment and sy...
