Job description

Overview Reads and interprets blueprints, drawings, and specifications and welds metal components using various welding processes and techniques. Follows established procedures, maintains safety standards, and performs routine checks to ensure product quality. Responsibilities: Job Responsibilities: 1. Reads and interprets blueprints, drawings, specifications, and work instructions to plan welding operations. 2. Sets up and operates welding equipment to produce fabricated components. 3. Prepares materials for welding by cleaning surfaces, grinding, and fitting components. 4. Inspects completed welds visually and using testing methods to ensure they meet quality standards. 5. Troubleshoots and repair welds as needed. 6. Maintains welding equipment and tools in good working condition. 7. Follows all safety regulations and wears appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). 8. May operate machinery including welding robots, saws, and grinders.
