Description This position is located at the Family Express office in Valparaiso, Indiana. This is not a remote position. Position summary: The Director of Information Technology is a position that has ultimate responsibility for managing and directing Information Technology support and technical services. Individual must demonstrate a commitment to personal development, seek “Best Practices” and promote the overall success of the company’s mission. The position is responsible for daily maintenance, operation and support of the company’s IT assets and resources. Participates in evaluating and recommending resources to expand services. Develops and implements effective procedures for network operations, computer support, and internet support, point of sale and telecommunications support. Provides technical assistance in the planning and design of IT systems. Maintains connections with hardware and software suppliers to ensure the timely procurement of technology.
