NaphCare is hiring a Staff Physician to join our team of medical professionals in the Bibb Correctional Facility in Brent, Alabama. As a Correctional Staff Physician , you will be responsible for providing quality medical care to meet the healthcare needs of the patients within the facility, while working alongside correctional officers and other medical professionals. Responsibilities: The Staff Physician is responsible for performing physical exams, diagnosing and treating illnesses, and managing chronic conditions, ensuring care is provided to protect the rights, dignity, and health of our unique patient population. Responsibilities may include and not be limited to: - Formulating working diagnoses, developing and implementing treatment plans, and evaluating/modifying therapeutic regimens - Evaluating patients who have returned from off-site treatment - Responding to and initiating care for medical emergencies throughout the facility - Coordinating, leading and participating in educational and training activities related to medical care for patients - Conducting rounds in the medical and infirmary u...
