Job Description Maintenance Mechanic - Marshall, MN This is a full-time, hourly shift position. Job Summary: Under general supervision, builds, maintains, and repairs production equipment for all departments as required. Essential Job Functions: - Disassemble and identify mechanical failures and performs repairs on production facilities equipment as required. - Performs preventative maintenance (PM) duties on production equipment, vehicles, locomotives, material handling, and conducts regular inspections of production equipment to determine immediate and future maintenance requirements. - Document time spent and parts used on projects by completing time records through the use of Maximo along with maintaining inventory of replacement parts, equipment, and maintenance requirements. - Installs new equipment and aligns equipment for production use as required. - Rebuilds pumps, motors, seals, gearboxes, and similar production equipment. May recommend purchase decisions with the department lead or supervisor. - Provide work direction to less experienced Maintenance Mechanics or assist in training. - Participates in Daily Safety Toolbox Talks. - Performs emergency/ repair - Welding task...
