Registered Pharmacist Position Summary: The Registered Pharmacist must work with pharmacy staff, Quality Correctional Care staff, and county staff to provide medications to inmates and facilities. Registered Pharmacist Mandatory Functions: - Comply with all current and future state, federal, and local laws and regulations. - Comply with court orders, medical department rules and the policies and procedures of Quality Rx. - Review prescriptions for accuracy, appropriate therapy, and interactions and communicate any discrepancies to providers quickly to prevent any disruption of care to patients - Accurately and efficiently process, package, and dispense prescriptions - Maintains records for controlled substances and removes outdated and damaged drugs from the pharmacy inventory. - Closely manage inventory in a c...
