What you'll be doing: Become an indispensable part of the team tasked with winning new work and managing preconstruction by learning and applying DD’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s). Manage the estimating process from start to finish on multiple concurrent exercises. Lead teams of other estimators on larger, more complex projects. Assemble conceptual budgets and various updates during design progression. Strategize with the DD team to develop a winning approach for each pricing exercise. Review bid documents to learn the job, invite the needed trades, identify constructability issues, and find conflicting or missing information that needs to be answered or qualified.
