Organization: SMF-Sutter Med Foundation- Central Position Overview: Performs advanced nerve conduction studies (NCS) and provides technical assistance for physician-performed electromyography (EMG). Works independently, using advanced clinical judgment and technical skill to deliver safe, accurate, and patient-appropriate studies for a broad range of neuromuscular conditions. Selects and tailors study protocols within established guidelines, optimizes recordings through real-time troubleshooting, and communicates pertinent technical findings to the supervising physician. Builds patient and provider trust through clear communication, education, and attentive care. Adheres to all regulatory, organizational, and departmental standards for quality, safety, and privacy.
