Overnight position, 10pm-6:30am POSITION SUMMARY: The Psychiatric Emergency Services Clinical Specialist is responsible for evaluating, assessing, diagnosis and providing psychosocial expertise as a member of the emergency department team. The Specialist will participate as part of the emergency department team to provide additional clinical services including assistance with identification and utilization of resources, triage cases, collaborate with BEST mobile teams, assisting in the disposition of patients, collaborate with other team members including, students, nursing, residents and attending physicians. This position requires the ability to work independently in an acute care setting. This position requires the ability to work independently in an acute care setting and coordinate closely with overnight resident.
