Description JOB SUMMARY: Within the context of a patient/client and family-centred framework and continuum-based care model and in accordance with established standards of professional practice and the vision, values and policies of the organization, provides occupational therapy services and treatments using current theory and evidence-based practice. Works in a team-based environment to develop, implement and evaluate occupational therapy services to clients. Consults, confers and/or collaborates with the interdisciplinary team in the promotion of quality improvement activities, interdisciplinary research and coordinating activities consistent with clinical best practices. QUALIFICATIONS: Education & Experience Current full registration as an Occupational Therapist with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC).Eligible for membership in the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists (CAOT) Three (3) years’ recent related clinical experience in mental health and substance use services, including one (1) year coaching or group facilitation experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
