The Opportunity We are seeking a Inspector for our Transportation-Construction management (T-CM) Practice in Denver, CO. Qualifications: - Observe the contractors work to determine the progress and quality of work on construction projects - Identify discrepancies, report significant discrepancies to the supervisor, and direct the Contractor to correct such observed discrepancies - Work independently, under general supervision, exercising advanced judgment in the application of standard methodologies and procedures for complex projects - Perform highly complex technical assignments in field surveying and construction layout, making, and checking engineering computations - Inspecting construction work and conducting field tests and is responsible for coordinating and managing lower-level inspectors - Reads and interprets contract documents (plans and specifications) to determine if the contractor’s work is in substantial compliance with the contract documents.
