Job description

The SDU Center for Energy Informatics, Faculty of Engineering, University of Southern Denmark (SDU), invites applications for one or more Assistant and/or Associate Professor positions within Energy Informatics. The positions are available from September 1, 2026, and the specific start date will be agreed upon with the successful candidates. The SDU Center for Energy Informatics is an international research and innovation hub dedicated to advancing the digital infrastructure that underpins modern energy systems. The Center develops scientific methodologies and scalable software technologies that enable intelligent, interoperable, and resilient operation of critical energy infrastructures across buildings, industry, district heating, electric power grids, and sector-coupled energy networks. Through interdisciplinary research, large-scale collaborations, and active participation in European and international research programs, the Center contributes to strengthening the secure and sustainable transformation of energy systems in Europe and beyond.
