Overview JOB SUMMARY: The role encompasses the management of the cardiac catheterization lab patient through implementation of the nursing process, supervision of licensed and unlicensed personnel, and coordination of interdisciplinary care. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education: See License and Certification: Experience: One year experience in a cardiac catheterization laboratory or two years experience in a critical care area. Knowledge and Skills: Able to work in a fast-paced environment; manage/prioritize/delegate patient care, and complete work assignments and other duties as assigned. Able to communicate effectively in English both orally and in writing. License/Certifications: Current nursing license, state of California, American Heart Association (AHA) BLS & ACLS, Basic EKG course or passing of 80% or greater on exam to be completed within orientation period. One year experience in a cardiac catheterization laboratory or two years experience in a critical care area and completion of a 12 Lead EKG class either prior to hire/transfer or within 12 months of hire.
