Position Summary Your key responsibilities: Samsung is directly affected by a wide range of laws and regulations, as well as constantly changing demands from customers and other stakeholders. The Sustainability Affairs Manager is needed to ensure that compliance requirements are met, support the development/ implementation of policies and strategies to address legal obligations, and work with both external stakeholders and internal teams to support the diverse needs of the business. As a member of the UK Legal, Compliance and Sustainability team, you will be helping deliver innovative programmes to ensure Samsung Electronics UK (SEUK) is at the forefront of industry best practice. - Lead on environmental and social sustainability issues within SEUK through expert knowledge on specialist issues, e.g. Extended producer responsibility, eco-design of products, hazardous chemicals management, energy efficiency, energy and carbon reporting, and Human rights and labour issues. - Arranging reporting, payment and providing calculations relating to: WEEE, Batteries, Packaging, GHG, F-Gas, Energy / Carbon, Energy Saving, and others. - Advising on the contents of / drafting SEUK’s TCFD reporti...
