Maintenance Superintendent

Job description

Position Summary Develops, implements, and maintains a planned and preventive maintenance work order system in alignment with company policies, customer requirements, and applicable MSHA regulations, as well as mine and environmental standards. Accountable for maintaining accurate equipment records, analyzing equipment performance, and reporting on the effectiveness of maintenance activities. Ensures all work is planned and executed in a cost-effective, safe, and environmentally responsible manner, meeting the operational needs of both the customer and Westmoreland. Supervisor Responsibilities: This position has supervisory responsibilities over other employees. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Plans, implements, and oversees preventive maintenance programs and schedules to ensure reliable, cost-effective operations, conducted safely and in compliance with MSHA, mine, and environmental regulations. - Ensures the maintenance management system is effectively utilized to minimize operational disruptions and maintain cost control. - Fosters a positive employee and labor relations environment by supporting and participating in activities that build strong working relationships w...
