Job description

Position Overview: Lead the planning of components and direct material purchases to support global manufacturing operations. Define, execute and report on supplier production plans to ensure component supply meets Insulet’s growth objectives. Responsible for all aspects of component planning including tools, processes, and metrics through the extended supply chain. Ownership of inventory planning in conjunction with Global Procurement for all Insulet direct materials. This role also has purchasing responsibility using Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) to ensure supply of all SKUs meets Insulet production goals. Responsibilities: Drive tier 1 and tier 2 suppliers to ensure material planning processes are followed and that available material will achieve target inventory levels. Deliver and measure component forecast plans for tier 1 and 2 suppliers to support contract-manufacturer-purchased materials and Insulet requirements.
