Job description

This is Hybrid 3 days a week on-site at the Austin, Texas office. UL Solutions is seeking a Summer AI Engineer Intern with a strong interest in Agentic AI systems, large language models (LLMs), and intelligent automation. In this role, you will work with experienced AI and software engineers to prototype, build, and evaluate agent-based AI solutions that support complex workflows, reasoning, and orchestration across enterprise software platforms. This internship provides hands-on exposure to real-world AI systems, including prompt engineering, tool-using agents, multi-step reasoning workflows, and integration with production software systems.
