Job Description Summary Perform the daily operations of plants to ensure reliability and consistency on the production line. Includes Service Shops. Impacts approaches, projects and programs in the functional area or affected business organization and ways of working. Impacts quality, efficiency and effectiveness of own team. Has significant input into priorities. Guided by professional practices and policies that are shaped by the role. The role has moderate autonomy, requiring high levels of operational judgment. Job Description: Essential Responsibilities: - Shift supervisor for a team of production employees responsible for Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost for their shift and for adherence to standards. - Supervise and lead front-line manufacturing employees. Typically managing hourly employee populations. - Expected to resolve problems through the application of acquired expertise guided by precedent. - Works together with people from the business unit.
