DTU invites applications for postdoc positions within DTU’s Division for Climate and Energy Policy at DTU Management, Department of Technology, Management and Economics. The division is an interdisciplinary research unit that carries out research related to climate and energy economics, resilience, adaptation, and mitigation pathways. Our activities within the field of climate risk management integrate domain expertise from economics, climate and extreme event modelling, and data science. We offer an excellent research environment with international staff, postdocs, and PhD students. Our research in climate economics and risk management aims to facilitate climate-resilient decision-making. The objective is to promote sustainable development by reducing the impacts and optimizing benefits across population groups, regions, sectors and ecosystems that are potentially affected by the changing climate. Climate risk management requires diverse qualitative and quantitative approaches, including the development of new evidence-based models and loss and damage functions varying across natural surroundings and societal frameworks.
