Job DetailsJob Location: MetalTech - Sparks, NV 89431Job Category: ManufacturingWHAT YOU’LL BE DOING The Welder is a key position in our Metal Tech operation. The position applies appropriate welding processes to join, surface, fabricate or repair metal parts and assemblies, as specified by work orders or production drawings. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you’ll primarily work with a small team of machine operators and welders. A highlight of your day-to-day will include: (Critical) Demonstrates willingness to take direction and follows instructions. (Critical) Adheres to schedule and maintains regular attendance at work-site. Works overtime as assigned. (Critical) Maintains a safe and clean work environment, returns all tools after use to proper storage location, and performs routine housekeeping (i.e.: cleaning, organizing). Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures. Identifies unsafe working conditions and notifies supervisor. (Critical) Fabricates metal parts and assemblies by cutting, burning, and welding various metals.
