TITLE: Mechanical Technician SHIFT: 2/2/3 Schedule OPENINGS: Days (6:00 AM - 6:00 PM) and Nights (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM) POSITION OBJECTIVE: Perform duties required to maintain and repair polyethylene blown film extrusion lines with conveying and winding equipment and multi-lane bag machines with auto pack equipment. Technician will be familiar with a variety of mechanical and electrical concepts, practices and procedures. Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. QUALIFICATIONS: - Minimum of 5 years of mechanical and/or electrical experience. - Florida State Journeyman Electrical License preferred. - Welding Certifications - Advanced Fabricating Skills. - Ability to work shift work, weekends, and 12 hours shifts. - Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary. - Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.
