In your first year with TI, you will participate in the Career Accelerator Program (CAP), which provides professional and technical training and resources to accelerate your ramp into TI and set you up for long-term career success. Within this program, we also offer function-specific technical training and on-the-job learning opportunities that will encourage you to solve problems through a variety of hands-on, meaningful experiences from your very first day on the job. At TI, Signal Processing Engineers are tasked with understanding the problems TI devices are expected to solve. In the early stages of product development, you would develop models (in MATLAB/python) to study approaches to a particular problem (say, the detection of cars at very long ranges using a radar). The result of this study would then feed into the design of a device (say the noise figure or transmit power). You may need to develop specific algorithms to accomplish the goal (say, a custom detection algorithm for instance).
