Location: Largo, FL Job Type: Full-Time | 2nd Shift (Mon-Fri: 2:30PM – 11:00PM) Compensation: $18.18/hour + $1.50/hour Shift differential + Benefits + Overtime opportunities What you will do: As a Brazer, you will be responsible for performing a combination of welding and testing tasks to ensure conformance to specifications and continuous production consistent with established standards. You will typically weld similar materials together (mainly copper) using a filler material. How you will do it: Perform a brazing using a gas torch welding similar materials together (mainly copper) using a filler material. Perform standard soft copper brazing in coils, headers, and partial valve pack materials following detailed work instructions, processes and procedures (written and verbal) to meet and exceed customer expectations. Read and interpret blueprints, engineering specifications, engineering drawings, and shop orders to weld coil units. Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs). Safety Awareness - Take responsibility for their own safety as well as the safety of others.
