The program was founded in 1977 to help clean up the state highway right of way. Litter crews are made up of crew members and crew leaders. The crews primarily pick up litter along state highways although other tasks may be assigned. This is a great opportunity to work outdoors with a team and have a role in maintaining state highways, help the environment and learn about career opportunities at ODOT! We welcome applications from anyone 16 years of age or older for crew member positions and 18 years of age or older for crew leader positions. This recruitment will remain open until filled.
