Description SUMMARY: This staff position is responsible for the technical support resources for the School of Film/Video. Technical support resources include: managing student technical assistants, overseeing content of technical support website, administering (delegating) “helpdesk” ticketing system, producing written and video technical documentation. Supports all forms of film and video making including documentary, narrative, experimental, animation and emerging forms. Qualifications: SKILLS/ABILITIES: EDUCATION: Undergraduate degree or equivalent professional experience in related field. EXPERIENCE: - Wrangling and management of the technical support website. - Manage technical support ticketing system. - Analyze support requests and needs to identify areas of improvement both in terms of documentation and instruction. - Track technical/operational issues; discover trends and alert technical staff. - Responsible for consistent instructional signage and labeling of equipment and facilities. - Develop a consistent written style, graphic design, and branding for all documentation, signage, and labeling. - Test and document workflows developed by technical staff and academic coord...
