Job description

Main responsibilities: - Analyzes product returned from customers as necessary to determine failure modes and determine acceptance or rejection of Warranty/Customer claims. - Perform inspection and testing of returned finished products and components. - Properly document test results, findings, and final disposition of returned items. - Records test data, evaluate data to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards. - Sets up and performs tests on parts, or products to measure performance characteristics - Maintain a clean and safe work area. - Interpret work instructions. Ability to read electrical schematics and understanding of electrical components. - Perform rework activities as requested by Segment Quality (including repair, re-labeling, and repackaging). - Reclaim tested products such as air conditioners, refrigerators, and coolers. - Repackage items damaged in the warehouse, including inspection and testing when applicable. - Inspect parts related to customer complaints or SOHN issues - Must maintain open communication with reporting manager and team regarding test results. - Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
