About this role Carrier Commercial Service has an opening for an experienced Controls Field Engineer for our Charlotte NC location. The Controls Field Engineer is responsible for the successful overall software design of projects, database creation, as well the implementation of the controls design and standards used in the programming and documentation of controls projects. Key Responsibilities: Job requires fieldwork with controllers and associated components Highly qualified controls technicians preferred: Working knowledge with BAS systems, Carrier i-Vu knowledge is a plus Complete each assigned project focusing on customer satisfaction and specification compliance while maintaining budgetary guidelines Partner with sales function to set parameters for equipment needs and project timeline Create submittals, read and understand project specifications and MEP drawing sets, controls and shop drawings Document and track project completion with as-builts and final program notation with all field changes Assemble Operation & Maintenance Manuals for completed projects.
